Single Crystal X-ray Diffractometry

X-ray DIff.jpeg

The Rigaku Oxford SuperNova single-crystal X-ray diffractometer equipped with a Dectris Pilatus 200 K area detector and a Mova X-ray micro sourcer located at the University of Padova, Department of Geosciences. The diffractometer is controlled by the CrysalisPro software (Rigaku Oxford Diffraction) and data is also processed using this software.

With this instrumentation, we can analyze mineral inclusions in diamond <40 microns in size.

Micro-Raman Spectroscopy
